RNN brought home eight Folio Award for its content on FiOS1 News Long Island and the accompanying website, www.fios1newsli.com.
Among the individuals recognized were Long Island field reporters Jessica Fragoso and Kevin Vesey; morning news anchor CJ Papa; evening news anchor Mike Stevens; and “Richard French Live” anchor Richard French, III.
“It really talks about what’s going on 4 years of commitment that FiOS1 has to Long Island in both Nassau and Suffolk counties,” said French of the wins. French is also RNN’s President of News and Programming.
The Fair Media Council’s ceremony is the largest media event on Long Island. Recipients are selected by public vote and votes from non-profit organizations and universities. The media itself does not cast votes.
