As I predicted months ago, Sheldon Silver may walk.
No jail for at least the next year. Wall Street Journal is reporting that “under federal law, a judge should allow a defendant to remain free on bail during an appeal only if there is a substantial likelihood of a reversed verdict or a new trial.”
Donald Trump has supposed to be different and refreshing, but now he will be seen through the prism of any other politician that will say anything for votes.
Dare, I say it! Trump is hurting his brand.
This was supposed to be his signature issue, tough talking on immigration (absent of political correctness)
Like him or hate him, Trump was supposed to be the guy that tells you like it is.
Perhaps the best response I have received to Republican Nominee Donald Trump declaring the other day that he actually “regrets” some of the comments he has made on the campaign trail, came from Ronald T. Johnson via Linkedin.
Referring to Trump, Mr. Johnson said:
“He regrets, like a bank robber regrets he got caught.”

Millions more of Americans have Health insurance, a sizable amount that would never have qualified previously, and that is a commendable thing, (based on a U.S Department of Health and Human Service, they estimate 20 million people gained health insurance coverage between the passage of the law in 2010 and early 2016—an historic reduction in the uninsured)
The first lady illustrated during the opening session of the DNC, what she did for her husband on the stump in 2008, but this was even more speculator.

From Abortion to Political Corruption, major rulings came from the Supreme Court.
The Court overturned Texas restrictions on Abortion, which has a domino effect in about 10 other states.
The Supreme Court also ruled on the Virginia case of former Governor Bob McDonnell, vacating his corruption conviction.
That decision has major implications for former NY Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, and former State Senate majority leader Dean Skelos, which may have new trials following their convictions.
Doris Buffett has donated over 100 million dollars to great causes, like Hudson Link which provides a college education to New York State Prison Inmates. Journalist Dominic Carter's TV conversation with philanthropist Doris Buffett (the sister of Warren Buffett) inside Sing Sing Prison. June 2016
It was really an eye opening experience to sit down with former NJ Governor Jim McGreevey, and have him teach me some things that are going on in Black America.
McGreevey feels prison is devastating communities of color, and he points out that kids of those incarcerated are 6 times more likely to also go to prison.
With his personal life, McGreevey admits he was broken, as he is about to turn 60. This is an interview worth watching. McGreevey declared America will "reap what it sows."
